Just like other industries in Great Britain, schools are required to adhere to the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This means schools must provide adequate first aid provision for their employees with consideration also, in their risk assessments, for students and members of the public visiting their site.
This "EFR Primary Care for Schools Programme" teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development; skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.

Timings – This is a 3-4 hour course with an online training element
Ratios – We work on a ratio of 1:12 Candidates
Administration – Each candidate is given a First Aid Book to keep and certificated upon successful completion of the course
Assessment – Each candidate must pass 1 x Theory Multiple Choice Question Paper plus an ongoing practical assessment
