Defibrillator Awareness Level 2

This course will ideally suit anyone needing a thorough introduction to Defibrillators and how to use them.

8. Intro to a Defibrillator

This training then covers the following defibrillators:

1. Heartstart FRx
2. iPAD CU-SP1
3. Powerheart G3 Plus Automatic
4. LIFEPAK CR Plus

This course is delivered through a series of short films and access to an online book.

CPD – This course can be used towards your Certified Professional Development, 1 Hour.

HSE/Environmental Health – Feel safe in the knowledge that this qualification is recognised as appropriate training with the HSE & Environmental Health/Local Council.

Certification – Once you have completed your course you can then print off your certificate and pass to your employer. If you do not pass your online test first time you have nothing to worry about, just read through the literature again and retake your online test until you do.  Valid for 3 years.

Due to the nature of all completed courses having an expiry date we shall contact you by email approximately 3 months before your certification expires to remind you of this.  If you have purchased courses on behalf of others you and they shall be contacted.  You can inform us at anytime if you no longer wish to be reminded of your certification expiry date.  Upon certification completion we shall keep the candidates, full name and contact details (email address) and an electronic copy of their certification on our system until the day the certificate expires - all data shall then be removed from our system automatically.
