Safer Recruitment in Education Level 3

Course information

Our Safer Recruitment in Education course is for anyone who is responsible for recruitment in an educational setting, including: Head Teachers, Governers, Teachers and HR Staff.  This course is set up for those working in settings such as:

  • Primary and Secondary Schools / Higher Education Establishments / Academies / SEN schools.

We recommend that those taking this course should have previously attended the Safeguarding Children Level 2 or 3 course so that they have an up-to-date understanding of child protection and safeguarding. 

Developed in line with the Department for Education’s Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance (01/09/2021), this training course follows the safeguarding framework for England.

Working at your own pace, you’ll learn about:

  • Preparing to recruit / Selecting the right people / Assessing the risk / How to remain vigilant / Recognising different types of abuse / Inappropriate behaviour and unsafe practice / How to develop appropriate policies and procedures for your organisation.

CPD – This course can be used towards your Certified Professional Development, 3 Hours.

Ofsted – Ensure you meet the guidelines set by Ofsted and Local Councils by completing this award.

Certification – Once you have completed your course you can then print off your certificate and pass to your employer.  

Valid for 2 years.  This course takes approx 2-4 hours to complete.
